When Can I Use My Certificate? Your Vacation Certificate is valid for September through May, but does exclude Labor Day and Memorial Day weekends. Redemption is based on hotel availability, so we strongly recommend setting your reservations at least 30 days prior to your preferred travel dates. How Do I Pick a Date to Redeem? Redeeming your Vacation Certificate is easy. Simply visit vbvacationcertificate.com. Here, you will be prompted for your last name and confirmation number. Your confirmation number will be sent via email within 24 hours of certificate purchase. You’ll then pick your travel dates, select the appropriate accommodations and secure your reservation. Shortly after redeeming, you will be contacted by a Gold Key Hospitality Representative to review your dates and package information. On vbvacationcertificate.com, be sure to look for Special Hot Dates where you may be eligible to receive complimentary accommodation upgrades! Can I Redeem My Certificate Immediately Upon Purchase? In most cases, it will take up to 48 hours to process your purchase into our Reservation system. Although you are welcome to check vbvacationcertificate.com at any time, be aware that your purchase may not immediately show as available. How Long Is My Vacation Certificate Good For? Your Vacation Certificate will expire 12 months from your date of purchase. Does My Vacation Certificate Include a Timeshare Tour? Yes, your Vacation Certificate includes a timeshare presentation of Virginia Beach’s newest and most luxurious resort, the Ocean Beach Club. The timeshare presentation will typically take place on the first full day of your vacation (ex. if arriving on a Thursday, the presentation would take place on Friday) and will last approximately 90-120 minutes. Your exact tour time will be assigned to you on first-come, first-serve basis at time of check in to the Ocean Beach Club Discovery Center. Can I Give My Certificate to Another Person? Unfortunately, your Vacation Certificate is non-transferable and only valid for the person who made the initial purchase. Can I Travel With Friends and Family Members? Unfortunately, only one promotional package is allowed per household or travel group. You may travel with friends and family provided that they stay within your room or secure accommodations directly through a hotel; however, you may not know of any other guests redeeming a promotional package for the same dates as you are. |
