Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat Does My Virginia Beach Vacation Certificate Include?Your certificate includes the accommodations stated on the front of your certificate receipt along with a timeshare presentation of the new Ocean Beach Club Resort. Any promotional add-ons given at time of purchase will be received upon completion of the timeshare presentation. When Can I Redeem My Vacation Certificate? You may redeem your certificate as soon as you receive your confirmation email with your certificate number, typically within 72 hours of purchase. How Do I Redeem My Vacation Certificate? Redeeming your certificate is easy. Simply visit vbvacationcertificate.com. Here you will be asked for your last name, phone number and certificate number. Your certificate number is included in your confirmation email, which you will receive within 72 hours of purchase. You will then pick your travel dates, select the appropriate accommodations, verify your information and then secure your reservation. You can also redeem by calling toll free at 877-822-4386. When Can I Travel Using My Vacation Certificate? Unless purchasing a year round certificate, your certificate is valid for redemption September through May, excluding the blackout dates of Labor Day Weekend, Memorial Day Weekend as well as the months of June, July and August. Redemption is also based on hotel / resort availability so we encourage you to make your reservations as soon as possible. Please note, you will not be able to redeem for dates greater than six months in advance meaning that if the date is November 1 you will only see available inventory through April 30. In this example, May inventory would not be available until December 1. Once I Redeem My Vacation Certificate, What Happens Next? Upon securing your dates, a Gold Key Vacation Specialist will call you to confirm all details. You will also receive a confirmation email outlining everything you'll need to know. As your arrival date approaches, your Vacation Specialist will help you along the way to ensure you have the best possible experience. My Vacation Certificate Includes a Timeshare Tour, What Does this Mean? Your certificate includes an exclusive timeshare presentation of the new $200 million Ocean Beach Club Resort. This presentation will typically take place on the first full date of your stay (e.g. if arriving on Thursday, the presentation would take place on Friday) and will last approximately 90-120 minutes. The exact tour time will be assigned to you on a first-come, first-serve basis at time of check in to the Gold Key Welcome Center. How Long is My Vacation Certificate Valid? Your certificate is valid for 12 months from date of purchase. May I Give My Vacation Certificate to Another Person? Unfortunately, your certificate is non-transferable and only valid for the person who made the initial purchase. May I Travel with Friends and Family Members? You may travel with friends and family provided that they stay within your room or secure accommodations directly through a hotel / resort. Only one promotional package is allowed per household / travel group within a seven day period. |
