Gold Key Vacations Terms and Conditions

To purchase a Gold Key Vacation Certificate, you must agree to the following terms and conditions.

Eligibility Requirements
  • All individuals 18 years of age and above in travel party are required to attend a 90-120 minute timeshare presentation of the Ocean Beach Club Resort
    • If married, both husband and wife must attend presentation together. If engaged, fiancés must attend presentation together. If cohabitating, both individuals must attend presentation together.
  • Participants must be at least 28 years of age and have a combined annual income of at least $65,000 (Income may be combined with spouse or significant other when proof of cohabitation is provided).
  • Participants and spouse/significant other must not be currently involved in any active bankruptcy proceedings or in the process of filing for bankruptcy protection
  • Participants must be a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder or Canadian citizen.
  • Participants must speak and read English.
  • Participants must not be a current or past Gold Key Resorts Owner.
  • Participants must be a homeowner.
  • Anyone who has participated in a Gold Key Resorts sales presentation in the last 14 months, current or past employees of Gold Key Resorts and their affiliates are not eligible for this offer.
  • Only one promotional offer will be allowed per family or household.
  • All reservations must be secured with a major credit card.
  • Two forms of identification will be required upon check-in and at the time of your preview, including a driver’s license and the same major credit card used to purchase vacation certificate.


Availability - Reservations are accepted on a space available basis for up to maximum occupancy of accommodations stated on your certificate receipt.

Reservation - Reservations should be made at least 30 days in advance, as they are based upon availability. Your confirmation letter is required for check-in. This package and is non-refundable, non-transferable and only valid for person whose name appears on reservation.

Cancellations - Once you have secured your date, should your plans change and you need to cancel or change your arrival date, you need to notify us at least 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. We will be happy to help you reschedule your Virginia Beach vacation to a new date. Cancellations or changes to your reservation within 14 days of your arrival date will be subject to a $50 reschedule fee, which will be refunded to you upon completion of your timeshare tour.

Disclosures - In the event you do not attend the timeshare presentation or do not meet the eligibility requirements stated above, the difference between the vacation certificate price and the current published nightly rate at that time, plus taxes, will be charged to your credit card.

Incidental Charges - All other charges, expenses, and the cost of travel are the sole responsibility of the individual and are not included in this special rate. Upon check-in, the hotel will require an imprint of a major credit card to cover incidentals (range of $50 – $100).

Retail Value - Retail value of package ranges from $249 to $1299.

Travel Window - Certificate is not valid for redemption for dates Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Your certificate is valid for 12 months from date of issue / purchase.

Usage Limitations - This package offer is valid for one package per family. No groups (more than one household or family) will be permitted to travel on same dates or within a 7 day travel window of each other.

Package Premiums - Any gift associated with certificate purchase will be issued to participant upon completion of timeshare presentation. In the event any gift is issued prior to completion of timeshare presentation the face value of the associated gift will be deducted from any refund that may be issued.
